We are planning to upgrade to the shared path along Wentworth Avenue and Page Street, Pagewood.
Funded by the NSW Government, the project will widen narrow sections and improve the two crossings at the intersection, creating a safer, continuous route for people walking and riding. This upgrade will strengthen the connection between Mascot, Eastgardens, and Hillsdale, making it easier and safer to travel without a car.
This path is already popular, especially with families and school children. The improvements will make cycling more convenient, support safer travel around Pagewood Public School, and encourage more people to walk or ride as part of their everyday trips.
The upgrade is an important step towards better cycling infrastructure and improved connections across the region.
The final design is now on exhibition, along with the Review of Environmental Factors (REF), which is open for feedback for 28 days.
