This year on Have Your Say, we published 48 projects and had over 11,000 site visitors...
1,200 of our visitors contributed their thoughts and ideas by completing surveys, dropping pins on a map, or submitting questions and comments.
Other visitors read about our projects, viewed important documents, checked key dates and visited our Advocacy Hub.
Our most popular projects this year were the two projects associated with our Local Strategic Planning Statement (‘Planning Our Future’ and ‘Future Bayside’), and the Bayside Bike Plan.
But not all of our engagement happens online...
Many of our engagements include face-to-face activities, as well as an online component.
For instance, while over 200 people contributed to our Bayside Bike Plan online survey and map, another 50 used our ‘travelling map’ at community events. Over 60 children under the age of twelve also participated, telling us their favourite place to ride their bike.
In fact, our biggest engagement this year did not have any online component!
Our Arncliffe Youth Centre engagement received feedback from over 700 young people and parents. To achieve this result, we attended community events and worked with local schools.
What else did we do?
We completed Bayside Council's first Community Satisfaction Survey. You can view the summary of our performance here.
