About

Bayside Council held their first Community Information Forum - A Voice to Parliament on Thursday, 1 June 2023 at the Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach. The forum aimed to inform the community of the impending referendum and what a constitutionally enshrined Voice to Parliament, would mean for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and our country. The forum was held with expert panel members Thomas Mayo, Marcia Ella-Duncan and Michael Ingrey who provided an informed discussion to enable the community to feel confident in their decision when the time comes to vote.
