Council is proposing to relocate and expand the Silver Jubilee Park playground. The new playground will have two play areas and provide activities for a range of ages to help the development of motor skills, physical strength and encourage social interaction.

The senior play area caters to older children. The equipment upgrades will promote play that involves climbing, swinging and spinning.

The junior play area caters to younger children. The equipment upgrades will feature a slide and balance equipment under a shaded area.

Additional playground improvements will include:
  • Circuit path (in grey on the map) to provide additional play value
  • Bins
  • Seating
  • Bubbler
  • New planting
