Update
The Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group members have been appointed and the first meeting was held on Tuesday 1 November 2022. The working group looks forward to progressing with the implementation of the Bayside Reconciliation Action Plan.
Background
We are looking for representatives to join the Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group.
The newly created Reflect RAP Working Group is designed to drive actions outlined in Bayside Council's, Reflect, Reconciliation Action Plan. You can read the Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan here.
Who will be involved?
We are looking for community members aged18+, who meet the following membership eligibility:
- Gadigal/Bidjigal Elders, or
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living, working in or with cultural connections to the Bayside local government area.
The group will also include:
- One representative from the Bayside Council First Nations Staff Working Group
- One representative from the Metropolitan and La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Councils
- Council Staff (Administration)
