What is Bayside Council doing for Plastic Free July®?
At Bayside Council, we're proud to have some of our very own Bayside employees gearing up and ready to take on the challenge. We will be using our reusable cups, bringing lunches from home, and seeking inspiration from the Plastic Free July® website for new ideas.
How can you participate in Plastic Free July®?
To encourage participation, Council is offering residents a chance to WIN 1 OF 3 amazing prizes*. 1st prize is a RedBalloon voucher for whale watching in Sydney on a speed boat for 2 people, and 2nd and 3rd prizes are a reusable bento box-style lunchbox (up to the value of $100 each). To enter, follow the steps below and tell us how you plan to reduce your single-use plastic use over the month of July.

How to enter in two easy steps:
Step 1. Click here to register for the challenge via the official Plastic Free July® website. Take a screenshot of the ‘thank you for registering’ email which shows your name. See the example below:
Step 2. Upload the screenshot of the Plastic Free July® registration confirmation below. And that’s it!
