Background

The planning proposal is seeking your feedback on introducing a new Additional Permitted Use (APU) in Schedule 1 of the Bayside Local Environmental Plan 2021, to permit advertising signage for Wentworth Avenue, Eastlakes (Land Occupied by Pedestrian Bridge).

What is being proposed?

The proposal will introduce a new permit, which allows the existing advertising structures on Wentworth Avenue pedestrian bridge to remain.

This will allow ongoing use of advertising signage on the bridge.

Currently, the Wentworth Avenue pedestrian bridge has two existing digital signage panels fixed to each side of the bridge, one facing north-west and the other facing south-east.
