Background

Bayside Council is proposing an amendment to the existing Planning Agreement at the BATA II site 128 Bunnerong Road and 120 Banks Avenue Eastgardens.

Draft Proposed Amendment to Planning Agreement

The amendment aims to:

  • promote and co-ordinate the orderly and economic use and development of the land to which the Agreement applies,
  • make land publicly accessible for public purposes in connection with the development,
  • mitigates ongoing ownership and maintenance costs for Council without compromising the committed obligations under the existing Planning Agreement to provide publicly accessible open space.
