The construction of this playground renewal was externally tendered by Vendorpanel with the tender approved by Council in August. It is anticipated that construction work will commence in early 2024.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to give us feedback on the proposed playspace renewals at Patricia Carlon, Empress and Noel Sieffert Reserves.

The concept design is progressing and the tender for construction is anticipated to be awarded in winter, 2023.


The proposal

Council is renewing the playspace within Patricia Carlon Reserve to include new and improved play opportunities. The design for the upgraded playspace includes:

  • new playground equipment for pre-school and lower primary age groups
  • park seating
  • landscaping improvements
