Council is proposing an amendment to the Plan of Management for Community Land & Public Open Space 2016 to re-categorise 72 Laycock Street, Bexley North.
Background
Council has entered into an Agreement for Lease with the Order of AHEPA NSW INC for the redevelopment and leasing of the former Bexley Bowling Clubhouse and site at 72 Laycock Street, Bexley North.
Under the terms of the Agreement for Lease, Council is required to review the current categorisations for the site to ensure that the Plan of Management and categorisation are consistent with the endorsed redevelopment proposals for the site.
Council at its meeting on 23 February 2022 resolved to progress the recategorisation. You can read the agenda and minutes here.
The Details
Council is seeking an amendment to the Bayside Council Plan of Management for Community Land and Public Open Space 2016 to re-categorise 72 Laycock Street, Bexley North from part Sportsground (s36F) and part General Community Use (s36I) to the single categorisation of General Community Use (s36I).
