Bayside Council has developed a draft Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) Policy to facilitate a future network of public EV charging infrastructure across Bayside and ensure providers and the community are aware of Council’s requirements when EV charging infrastructure is proposed.

The Policy includes:

  • Site considerations and assessment criteria
  • Summary of different types of EV charging infrastructure
  • Licence requirements of EVCI provision
  • Detail of standardised on-street signage and Council EV promotion
