Firmstone Reserve, Murray Road Pagewood, is a popular off-leash dog park for dogs and humans! Due to its high usage, the natural grass cover has significantly deteriorated, and it is time for a refurb.

What's Happening Now

This project is part of our City Projects Program for 2024/25. We’d like to hear from local users to gather your feedback on the proposed changes.

Improvements will include:

  • More resilient surfacing materials such as sand, mulch, and granitic sand;
  • New footpaths include the laneway linking Wark Avenue to the dog park and a new path from the Park Parade entry to connect seating and new dog activity areas. The new paths will improve inclusive access;
  • Relocating existing seating;
  • New agility activities for dogs such as timber logs and sandstone blocks to jump and play.
