Council is developing a new Inclusion Action Plan.
The purpose of the Inclusion Action Plan (IAP) is to outline the actions Council will take to remove barriers, improve access, develop positive attitudes and behaviours and promote liveable inclusive communities.
The Plan is Council’s four-year roadmap to remove barriers and implement inclusive principles, processes, systems, and practices.
The Plan includes goals and actions under four key focus areas, which are:

In September 2020, we began community engagement to prepare for the re-draft of the existing Inclusion Action Plan 2017 – 2021. We invited our target audience - people with disability, their families and carers, disability service providers, community organisations, and internal staff members to provide feedback to inform the new plan.
