Temporary Road Closure Trial Complete
In conjunction with Transport for NSW, Council trialled the temporary closure of Bay Street,
Brighton Le Sands, between The Grande Parade and Moate Avenue across three weekends in

Council and Transport for NSW will now review the impacts of the trial on the community, road
users and the incidents of hooning and anti-social behaviour in the area.
Thank you to everyone who visited Bay Street during the closures, supported local businesses and provided feedback on the trial. Your feedback will be considered in any future strategies to address hooning and antisocial
