Sculptures@Bayside transforms Cook Park in Kyeemagh into a free, outdoor Sculpture Park. It features over 30 large-scale artworks competing for a Sculpture Prize.
Sculptures@Bayside is part of the Bayside Arts Festival. The Festival will run from 4 April 2020 - 26 April 2020, and will offer an exciting series of arts and cultural events, competitions, workshops and exhibitions. Visit our public website to learn more about the Festival.
Entering the Competition
Closing date extended to midnight, 27 January 2020.
We invite entries from any form of temporary art (three dimensional visual arts produced through the shaping or modification of materials, which includes: architecture, built environment/land art, sculpture, ceramics, metal work and/or woodwork). All work must be original and handcrafted.
Artworks do not need to be complete at time of submission, but must be completed by Friday 27 March and ready for installation by 2 April 2020.
Artworks should consider the outdoor nature of the exhibition and must be tolerant to a variety of weather conditions – sun, rain, wind and can be displayed and left outdoors, as well as public interaction.
